August 2003 - 5th Annual "Birdies for Ben" This August 18th at the Sandy Burr Country Club in Wayland, MA a group of golfers tee'd-it-up on behalf of Ben and the Foundation in our 5th Annual golf fundraiser. Over the past five-years this event has raised over $400,000 for research! We couldn't have done it without all the hard work of the golfers and the generous contributions of their donors. Thank You! Next year we are hoping to expand the number of golfers and corporate sponsors. How it Works: Golfers secure tax-deductable donations from their friends and associates to benefit the Foundation. Each golfer sets a fundraising goal of $1,000 or higher. Golfers pay their own greens fees so 100% of donations will go directly to Ben's Dream. You Can Do It: With a little effort, it is not difficult to obtain donations from friends, family or colleagues. Think of how many people you know. If asked, most of those people will support your efforts on behalf of afflicted children. If only twenty people donate $50 each, you will raise $1,000! We will provide printed materials and fundraising assistance. Corporate sponsorships are available for $500, $1,000 and $2,000 plus levels.
