 On Sunday, June 2, 2002, Lewis Hibbs, a friend of Ben and his parents, traveled from his home in Baltimore, MD to run the Suzuki Rock 'n' Roll Marathon in San Diego, CA. His Mission: Complete the marathon. His Motivation: Ben and his contagious laugh, brilliant smile and bravery. His Hope: That every dollar he raises will bring researchers closer to curing Sanfilippo Syndrome. This is the second marathon run on behalf of Ben and the Sanfilippo Research Foundation. By completing the race, Lewis increased the total to 78.6 marathon miles dedicated to Ben!
